Parks & Playgrounds
Flagstone Parklands is our destination-worthy place to play – the ultimate fun zone, with so many features competing for the kids’ attention. Sprawling over 10ha, Flagstone Parklands is a shining, cutting edge example of how to bring the community and the wider region together.
Adventure Playground
There are local parks, then there is Flagstone’s epic Adventure Playground. With an 11m high tower, 19m skybridge, giant octonet, flying fox, racing slides and more, your place to play will bring new thrills to your little ones and be the envy of all who visit.
Water Play Park
Hot days are made for play at the state-of-the-art Water Play Park. Featuring a 10m high treehouse surrounded by a zero-depth water course with cascades, jets and blasters, it’s the perfect place to stay cool in Summer.
Skate Plaza
The competition-grade Skate Plaza brings action-filled meaning to the daily grind. Decked out with all the gnarly essentials like vert wall, quarter pipes, flat areas and boxes, it’s the place to be for skateboards, BMX and scooters.
Splash and Play Dog Park
Your four-legged kids can get cool at their very own Splash & Play Dog Park. Flagstonian pooches will have a ball, with bubbling spouts, grass tunnels and two fenced areas – one for small breeds and one for bigger dogs.
Latitude Park
Parkour/ninja warrior obstacles, kids sensory play area, BBQ, tables and benches, shade, and large open grassy area.
Vista Park
Half basketball court, flying fox, shaded table and bench, and large open grassy area.
Pirate Park
Pirate Ship Park will have your pint-sized pirates sailing on the high seas of their imagination.
Schools
Parents only want the best for their kids, and while you probably go to great lengths to ensure their well being, you won’t need to for their education at Flagstone. There’s a brand new childcare centre and kindergarten and excellent schools like Flagstone State Primary School, the state-of-the-art Flagstone State Community College and the prestigious Hills College are all nearby. With Flagstone’s first Catholic school planned, and set to host Prep to Year 12, you can rest easy knowing the future is taken care of.
St Bonaventure’s College
Flagstone’s first Catholic school is planned following Brisbane Catholic Education’s purchase of 12-hectares. Located walking distance from the proposed future train station, it will give families more choice in quality education alongside the existing state primary and secondary schools.
Flagstone State School
Offers a quality education for a current enrollment of 710 students from Prep to Year 6 through a diversity of programs, personalised education and extra curricula activities that promote foundational skills and maximise every child’s opportunity for success.
Flagstone State Community College
Opened in January 2002, the College now numbers over 900 students from Year 7-12. Students are able to study both academic and vocational curriculum and participate in a wide range of sports and cultural activities.

Community Grants
The Flagstone Community Grants Program provides eligible local community groups and clubs with the funding to support their projects, activities and events, or seek assistance in purchasing essential equipment.
