At Newhaven, we’ve included FOUR awesome parks in the masterplan, and each space is custom-designed for fun! Every playground is themed and designed for different age groups, so kids will never run out of things to do. Universal Road Park and Navigation Park are already open for play, and there’s even a dog park for the furry residents of Newhaven coming soon!

Navigation Park is the centrepiece of Newhaven’s life of fun and features a water-squirting elephant, lookout tower with slides, and plenty of climbing equipment. There’s also a basketball half-court, footy goals, a scooter zone, and even mini in-ground trampolines! Or, have a barbecue with friends and family, relaxing under the shaded picnic area.

Have a paw-fect time with your best friend
Located within the northern section of our community, Newhaven’s fenced dog park is pawfect for a fun day out with your best furry friend.
Your pups can unleash the fun on a selection of dog agility equipment, lots of sniff-worthy spots, seating for their humans, and a water fountain with doggy dish to keep up hydration.
It’s off-leash, so let those tails wag freely! But please keep your doggos on-lead in other areas of Newhaven, and don’t forget to close the gates behind you.
Schools & Childcare
There are plenty of established schools and childcares close to Tarneit – and even within walking distance of your new home!
Wimba Primary School and Kindergarten is located right in the centre of Newhaven, so you can walk the kids to school without even leaving your community. Tarneit Rise Primary School is also close by. For older students, Tarneit P-9 and Senior College is just down Leakes Road, plus there are a range of private schools within easy reach.
And if your little ones aren’t quite ready for school yet, there are plenty of childcare centres to choose from in Tarneit.
