2023 WA Property Council Awards – Best Community Infrastructure
Golden Bay won the award for Best Community Infrastructure, recognising the seamless and harmonious integration of community amenity into the natural environment following significant community consultation.
Showcasing this are the popular Shipwreck Cove, Treehouse Cove, and Golden Bay’s Ladder (or the affectionately termed “Jacob’s Ladder of the South”). Through significant community consultation, the development of this amenity has centred on the creation of infrastructure by the community, for the community.
2022 UDIA WA Awards for Excellence – Excellence in Social and Community Infrastructure Award
Golden Bay Estate has been celebrated at the prestigious 2022 Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) WA Awards, taking home the award for Excellence in Social & Community Infrastructure.
In presenting the award, the judges said “perseverance and commitment to the Golden Bay vision are evidenced in this coastal project, and the community is reaping the rewards, including fantastic amenity that are inclusive and engaging.”

Golden Bay Estate has been celebrated at the prestigious Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) WA Awards, taking home the award for Excellence in Social & Community Infrastructure and the highly coveted Russel Perry Award for Urban Development Excellence.
The Russel Perry Award recognises Golden Bay as the overall winner of the Awards of Excellence, acknowledging the highest standards of development within the industry and considered as the ‘Best of the Best’ in WA for 2022.
