Lakelands Lads presented MEN’TAL talks at the Lakelands Tavern in conjunction with Black Dog Institute to talk all things mental health, specifically with men.
There was lots of discussion had around normalising men being open about their mental health struggles, and always endeavoring to seek help.
The lads were joined by special guest Wayne Wigham, who shared his personal journey with mental health and shared strategies to overcome struggles.
We had a lot of positive feedback from the event, specifically from one patron who said the conversations had really helped him through a difficult time.
We are so grateful to the Lakelands Lads, Black Dog Institute and Wayne, for getting everybody together and helping our community.
